China has been hit by a deadly virus in the past weeks which has taken the lives of 128 people. There has been an emergency wake up call by authorities at Wuhan.
Some of the emergency response effected by other countries as a means of protecting it’s citizens has been praised.
Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it has activated two hotlines for parents or guardians with wards in Wuhan and its environs.
These, the ministry said, can be used by parents and guardians to contact authorities and get first-hand information on the situation on the ground.
An aggrieved Ghanaian citizen working in China has brought to the attention of Ghanaians of the condition and the real deal happening there.
He is cautioning the Government to be proactive and as such work according to the statements issued by them.
“The Government should just make room for Ghanaians there to be quarantined and tested before allowed into country”.
