Akwadaa Nyame has touched hearts on social media with heartbreaking story about his life in an interview monitored by Thedistin.com on One Ghana Tv on YouTube.
Akwadaa Nyame said before he caught the attention of Ghanaians with his presence on some reality shows on Adom Tv and Tv3, he used to perform at church and when the congregation gift him money, he gives it to his mother and that was how they were managing.
Akwadaa Nyame also stated that the house where he and his mother used to live had a section of the roof torn off, and their room was often flooded when it rained.
When asked how he met his manager and got the chance to be on TV, Akwadaa Nyame said that one day after he finished singing at church, a man approached his mother and gave her a phone number to call, and they worked together from there.
Akwadaa Nyame said his mother moved to Agona Swedru in the Central Region and remained there after his father rejected her when she was pregnant.
The talented singer, who is eight years old, said his mother told him about his father’s tragic story when he was seven years old.
According to Akwadaa Nyame, his father was not speaking to his mother for some reason, and she had no choice but to leave and seek shelter in Swedru to escape more misfortunes.
