Outspoken father of one of the students denied admission into Achimota School because of his dreadlocks is threatening to discourage Jamaican tourists from coming to Ghana because of the discrimination against his son.

Ras Aswad Nkrabea was the first to make the discrimination against his son public on social media before it went viral and has now become a subject for huge national debate.

His wife, Maanaa Myers told KofiTV in an interview monitored by  ONE GHANA TV that her husband has been in Ghana for over 20 years and has brought in loads of Jamaicans tourists and settlers to Ghana, most of whom are now very upset about the discrimination against their kind in Ghana.

“This year he is working to bring over 200 tourists from Jamaica to Ghana as part of Akufo-Addo’s Year of Return Agenda but now he says he will discourage the tourist from coming,” she said.
