Lieutenant Colonel Agyeman and three officers have been sacked by the National Security Minister for the abuse of a journalist

The National Security Ministry has completed its investigation into the manhandling of Citi FM Journalist Caleb Kudah.

The Ministry of National Security in a statement said it had formed a fact finding committee to investigate what happened to Caleb Kudah after he was caught filming at the premises of the National Security Ministry.

The Committee has concluded its investigations and has indicated that the actions of Lieutenant Colonel Frank Agyemang were inappropriate and contravened the Ministry’s standard operating system.

Three other officers involved have been withdrawn, although their names were not mentioned.

The Committee also established that the Journalist’s unauthorized entry into the Ministry’s premises was unlawful.

The Ministry has therefore reversed the secondment of Lieutenant Colonel Frank Agyemang, and he is expected to the Chief of Defence Staff for further investigation and action to be taken.
