VIDEO: “I am guilty”- Court charges Nana Agradaa to pay over 3 billion after pleading guilty

An Accra Circuit Court presided over by His Honour Emmanuel Essandor has finally closed the court case of Patience Asiedua, aka Nana Agradaa.

In the turn of events, Nana Agradaa pleaded guilty to the two counts filed against her which called for the judge to call out the judgement, a fine of ¢36,000 for operating a TV channel without licence or face three years imprisonment for the first count.

On the second count, that is, the display of charlatanism, the court ordered her to pay a fine of GH¢10,000 or face a one-year jail term.

Agradaa was fined after she had changed her plea from not guilty to guilty.
