Police hunts for a man who stabbed his wife after threatening to divorce him


The Police in Bibiani is on a manhunt for one Emmanuel Okyere Baffour for purportedly wounding his significant other, 26-year-old Joyce Johnes Afi Jessika, to death.

The suspect is said to have submitted the demonstration after the expired took steps to separate from him.

The episode happened last Thursday, August 6, at Degede, a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

As per the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Divisional Crime Officer, Superintendent Seth Serwonu, family members of the expired revealed the occurrence to the police.

He said the Police continued to the scene and tracked down the expired in a pool of blood with numerous cut injuries.

The body has since been saved at the Bibiani Government Mortuary for dissection, while the Police have started examinations to follow the whereabouts of the culprit.

He said on Thursday, August 6, 2021, around 12pm, the suspect went to the place of the expired when her folks were not around to assault her with a blade.

He supposedly cut her multiple times, covered the body with garments in the room, and departed suddenly.
