Felix Ansah, a 35-year-old taxi driver, was detained by the Ghana Police Service for allegedly murdering many people for ceremonial purposes.
The cab driver was apprehended after giving an interview to Onua TV on September 2, 2021, in which he claimed to have killed numerous people for ceremonial reasons.
He was arrested to aid police investigations after admitting to the suspected conduct of such offenses.
“He will be presented before court on Monday, September 13, 2021, to be placed on remand for comprehensive investigations into the accusations to continue,” the Police stated in a statement dated September 12, 2021.
“Further details will be provided as soon as possible,” the police stated.
