VIDEO: The Ghana police harasses journalists at the court hearing of Rev. Owusu Bempah according to reports


Rev. Owusu Bempah appeared in court today in connection with an incident involving him and Nana Agradaa at the latter’s home.

Journalists were not permitted into the courtroom, according to the footage and account from a journalist. Owusu Bempah’s macho guys and the police even attacked some of them.

He was charged with endangering the life of Nana Agradaa as well as provocative behaviour leading to a breach of peace.

Rev. Owusu Bempah was detained in police custody and ordered to appear in court on September 20, 2020.

Bail was denied to five junior pastors and bodyguards who were also detained.

A video has surfaced of Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah arriving in court today with five of his junior pastors in handcuffs.

When the man of God and his guys (junior pastors) arrived, highly armed police officers led them to court.
