Christian Kwabena Andrews, also known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, the Ghana Union Movement’s (GUM) 2020 Presidential Candidate, has stated that if Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, the head pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, is imprisoned, he will celebrate.
In an interview on Onua TV’s Makye show on Tuesday, September 14, Osofo Kyiri Abosom expressed disappointment in his colleague pastor for claiming that he could pay the security services.
Following the arrest of Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah and his three other men, Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene, and Nathaniel Agyekum, he made the following remarks.
They were charged with “creating and disseminating various recordings containing threats, as well as flashing a firearm and assaulting some police officers.”
In response to Owusu Bempah’s detention, Osofo Kyiri Abossom, the Founder and Leader of Life Assembly Worship Center, said that Owusu Bempah must face the law.
Rev Owusu Bempah, in his opinion, has been pampered in the country for far too long, and it is past time for security to use the law as a deterrent.
“I appealed for his release on bail since he is a popular man of God, but I regret it after seeing tapes of him claiming that he pays money to security and other high-ranking government officials for his selfish interests.”
He added, “Owusu Bempah is not a sincere man of God, and his behavior verifies every complaint leveled against him.”
